Local authorities revealed a case involving a 49-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman who allegedly entered a sham marriage to help a mainland Chinese woman obtain a Macau ID. The man reportedly received gold rings and a bracelet in exchange. Police investigations found that the couple had married in 2001, obtained an ID, and later divorced, with both having children with other partners before the divorce. Both suspects have been referred to the Public Prosecutions Office for further investigation.
