Two traders are battling for their lives after a wall collapsed on them at Suame Roundabout in Kumasi.
The incident occurred when a vehicle belonging to Rango Constructions, the contractor for the ongoing Suame Interchange project, crashed into the wall, causing it to fall on the victims.
Eyewitnesses described the injuries as severe, with one victim suffering a fractured leg while the other was trapped under the rubble and sustained multiple injuries.
Passersby and emergency responders managed to rescue the victims, who were immediately rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for treatment.
The accident has sparked fresh concerns over safety protocols and precautionary measures at major construction sites in the city.
