Begunia: In a major success Police managed to rescue 3 youths who were being kidnapped by a gang of about 12 miscreants yesterday late at night in Khordha district of Odisha. The incident took place in the Badakumari village in Bolgarh area of ​​Khordha district.
As per reports, about 10 to 12 masked miscreants entered the house of Abhay Jena of Badakumari village in Khordha district late last night. They frightened the family members by brandishing sharp weapons and by firing blank. And they kidnapped 3 persons of the family.
After receiving information about this, Bolgarh police swung into action and pursued the miscreants.
Aware that the police were chasing them to rescue the kidnapped youths, the miscreants abandoned the youths near Baliapada under Bhapur police station limits and fled the scene.
Bolgarh Police and Bhapur Police rescued the youths in injured condition and hence sent them to Rajsunakhala hospital for treatment. However, as their health condition deteriorated they have been shifted to Bhubaneswar for advanced treatment.
It is suspected that the incident took place over past enmity.
