TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi explained the reason why the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises has not been mentioned during the cabinet reshuffle announcement at the State Palace, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday, September 17, 2025.According to Prasetyo, President Prabowo Subianto is still looking for a new SOE Minister to replace Erick Thohir, who was transferred to the position of Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora).”We are still looking for a replacement following Erick Thohir’s transfer of duties from the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises to the Ministry of Youth and Sports,” Prasetyo said at the Palace complex.The Gerindra Party politician added that President Prabowo is planning to appoint an acting minister on a temporary basis. The acting role will likely be filled by one of the current Deputy Ministers of State-Owned Enterprises, though Prasetyo did not specify whether it would be Donny Oskaria or Aminuddin Ma’ruf.”Not yet, I haven’t signed the ad interim [appointment],” he noted.President Prabowo Subianto officially inaugurated Erick Thohir as the Minister of Youth and Sports on the same day. The inauguration ceremony took place at the State Palace and was formalized through Presidential Decree or Keppres Number 96P/2025.
