Is Sydney Sweeney making her Bollywood debut? The Hollywood actress has been hogging the limelight lately, be it for her jeans controversy, bold red carpet appearances or box-office success. Now, if reports are to be believed, the Euphoria star is ready to venture into the Hindi film industry. As per the rumours, she has been offered a role in an expensive project, and a prominent production company has reached out to the 28-year-old with a pay cheque of over Rs 530 crore.
According to a report by The Sun, Sydney Sweeney has been offered a remuneration of 35 million pounds (over Rs 415 crore) alongside “10 million pounds (over Rs 115 crore) in sponsorship agreements.” The report further mentioned that Sydney’s “star power” might prove to be profitable for the untitled film and help it “reach a wider audience in the international market.”
Sydney Sweeney’s Character In Reported Bollywood Film
Sydney Sweeney is expected to essay the character of an American star who falls in love with an Indian celebrity. The upcoming move is likely to be shot in Paris, New York City, London and Dubai “early next year”. An official confirmation from the makers and the actress, however, is awaited.

Speaking about the matter, a source close to The Sun shared that Sydney Sweeney “was shocked” by the incredible offer of 45 pounds. “But the project is intriguing, and it could elevate her global profile even further… Nothing has been decided yet, but it is a huge opportunity and Sydney is weighing her options carefully,” the insider added.
Sydney Sweeney’s Upcoming Films
Sydney Sweeney shot to fame after featuring in the 2019 Prime Video drama series Euphoria. Audiences also loved her performance in the HBO black comedy The White Lotus. Up next, she will be seen alongside Amanda Seyfried in the psychological mystery-thriller The Housemaid. The film, directed by Paul Feig, also stars Brandon Sklenar and Michele Morrone in crucial roles.
Apart from that, Sydney Sweeney is ready to slip into the shoes of US pro-fighter Christy Martin in the David Michod directorial Christy. Ben Foster and Merritt Wever are also a part of the biographical sports drama, scheduled to release on November 7.
