Packers have turned down two trade offers for former first-round pick

The Green Bay Packers are 2-0, the lone undefeated team in the NFC North through the first two weeks of the 2025 NFL season. While the season is still young, it is hard for fans not to be excited with how well Green Bay is playing offensively and, especially, defensively (though special teams still leave a lot to be desired).

Unfortunately, the Packers have not gotten through the first two weeks of the season unscathed. Wide receiver Jayden Reed, who led the team in both receptions and receiving yards in each of the past two seasons, broke his collar bone on Thursday night and will miss the next six to eight weeks. Right tackle Zach Tom is battling an oblique injury that forced him to miss Week 2, and he may be out even longer, though Green Bay has not placed him on injured reserve as of yet.

Starting left guard Aaron Banks, who was signed in free agency, also missed the game against the Washington Commanders with an injury.

Fortunately, though, Green Bay has been able to navigate these injuries and have won both of its games in convincing fashion. Other teams have not been as fortunate, and some are calling the Packers about some of the players on their roster.
