KARACHI: Karachi Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab said on Wednesday that water levels in the Lyari River are receding rapidly and the river has almost returned to its normal state.
He added that relief efforts are ongoing in the adjoining areas of Sohrab Goth, Saadi Town, and Scheme 33. Residents displaced from Scheme 33 have been shifted to four relief camps established by the Sindh government.
