MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCSC) – The 15th year of the annual Mount Pleasant Business and Community Expo is finally here with some major additions for attendees.
This event is considered the largest networking event in the area with the goal of connecting the community with Lowcountry businesses and vendors.
This year they’re completely sold out, with 90 vendors in attendance plus a few big changes.
This is the first time the event will also host a job fair component.
Employers like the South Carolina Port Authority, the Charleston County School District, The Town of Mount Pleasant and the Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce will be there looking to recruit.
Novant Health will also be providing health screenings.
Everything is free to the community, even the parking and there will be golf cart transportation from cars to the event.
Event organizers say they’re expecting over 1,000 people to attend. The expo is from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Omar Shrine Convention Center.
