The NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) has made the free exit option available for candidates who have been allocated in the AP NEET UG counselling 2025 round 1. Those who wish to resign from their seats can do so by September 21 (on or before 4 PM) by requesting the college principal. “Such candidates will not be eligible for further rounds of Competent Authority Quota counselling. However, such candidates can join in MQ Phase-I of Dr NTR UHS, Vijayawada, if a seat is allotted, the official notice reads. College Principals to Accept Requests & Freeze Latest Data College principals can accept the free exit requests in the enclosed format and hand over the original documents along with the tuition fee and other charges to the candidate with immediate action, followed by data freezing until September 21, 2025, up to 4 PM. Thereafter, no candidate will be permitted to withdraw from the joined under Phase-I counselling. Those who have resigned from Phase I and reported/joined the seat before the said date will be considered as not reported/not joined, and such vacated seats will be filled in Phase II counselling as per the rules. Leftover seats will be available for the second round of AP NEET counselling 2025. “Reported candidates who have not utilised the free exit facility as per the schedule cannot resign the seat during the course of admissions, that is, from Phase-III counselling till closure of admissions,” the NTRUHS notice read.
