This Karnataka Man Doesn’t Eat Food, ‘Drinks 7-8 Litres Of Motor Oil’ Daily For Survival

From Karnataka comes a man who has caught attention for his unusual eating habits. Instead of consuming regular food like rice or chapati, he is said to live on “engine oil”. Yes, you read that right!
His lifestyle went viral after an Instagram post highlighted his decades-long habit. What stands out is that for more than 30 years, his diet has included only engine oil.
The Man Called ‘Oil Kumar’
Known as “Oil Kumar,” he is believed to be from Karnataka’s Shivamogga district. The Instagram post mentions that his daily intake includes nearly seven to eight litres of engine oil. Alongside this, he also has tea regularly. While tea is an ordinary drink, motor oil is highly toxic and unsafe for consumption.
The viral video shows people offering him food, but Kumar refused them. Instead, he is seen drinking the engine oil from a bottle.
No Adverse Health Effect In Years
Despite living on engine oil for decades, he has never been admitted to a hospital. The post mentioned that he has not faced any major health issues that required medical care.
Survival Belief
The post also mentions that he connects his survival to the blessings of Lord Ayyappa. He believes that without divine support, it would not have been possible for him to live on such an unusual diet for so many years.

Vomiting and bleeding: It may cause vomiting, sometimes with blood, and internal bleeding.
Long-term damage: Continued intake can result in ulcers, holes or chronic infection in the digestive tract.
Damage To Other Organs
Brain and nerves: Possible dizziness, headaches, confusion or seizures.
Liver and kidneys: Toxic substances can damage these vital organs.
Heart: Hydrocarbons in the oil may cause irregular heartbeats that can be dangerous.
