Kevin Lenahan

Dr. Kevin Louis Lenahan, chiropractor and resident of St. Thomas, passed away on June 7, 2025 at the age of 72.

Born July 3, 1952, in Louisville, Kentucky, Kevin grew up in Nashville, Tennessee, where he excelled as a state champion wrestler and football player at Father Ryan Catholic School. He went on to attend Sewanee: The University of the South on a full athletic scholarship and was later inducted into the university’s Hall of Fame. After earning his chiropractic degree from Life University, Kevin moved to St. Thomas to take over the practice of retiring chiropractor Dr. Hart, where he served the Virgin Islands community with compassion, warmth, and a lifelong commitment to natural health and wellness for more than 35 years.

An accomplished athlete throughout his life, Kevin was a Tennessee State Wrestling Champion, U.S. Virgin Islands wrestler at the Pan-American Games, director for Olympic wrestling youth outreach programs, volunteer for STAR (St. Thomas Association of Runners), triathlon, and competitor in multiple Half-Ironman competitions.

He is survived by his wife Carol, his three children Harry, John, and Frances, and his extended family and friends.

A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, Sept. 21, at Shed #4, Magens Bay, with a speech and remembrance video starting at 10 a.m.
