David Eby's views on migration problems shouldn't shock anyone

Unfortunately, some commentators, mostly NDPers, responded by accusing Eby of being “anti-immigrant” and “scapegoating” temporary workers and foreign students. It’s the same kind of name-calling that for decades has made it almost impossible to have an “adult conversation” about migration in Canada, unlike in other countries. Eby’s views have nothing to do with targeting migrants personally. Far from it. He’s pointing at policy issues.
