McVay confirmed on Wednesday that Fiske, along with guard Steve Avila, will not participate in practice. Tight end Colby Parkinson was also limited in Wednesday’s session. The coaching staff will continue to evaluate all three players as they prep for Sunday’s game in Philadelphia.
Key Defensive Contributor
Fiske is a crucial piece of the Rams’ defense, and his health is vital against the Eagles’ high-powered offense. Last season, he missed much of the team’s previous matchup with Philadelphia after suffering a knee injury early in the game.
In the 2025 season opener against the Houston Texans, Fiske recorded three tackles and a fumble recovery. While he has yet to register a sack this year, his presence and versatility remain essential to the Rams’ defensive schemes.
Looking Ahead
As LA prepares for Sunday’s contest, McVay reiterated that they will monitor Fiske closely. “We’ll see where he’s at,” McVay said. “He’s an important player for us, and we want him healthy for the challenges ahead.”
With the Eagles posing one of the league’s tougher offensive tests, the Rams’ ability to get Fiske back to full strength could play a pivotal role in limiting Philadelphia’s playmakers.
