Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is a highly regarded figure in sports, and his life could someday be adapted into a movie.
Allen began his college career as a zero-star recruit, playing at Reedley Community College before transferring to Wyoming, where the Bills selected him in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
Allen has become one of the top players in the NFL, and his remarkable football journey could inspire a great movie script.
Of course, Allen could play him in the movie, but there are also a few actors he wouldn’t mind playing him.
Josh Allen Picks Two Actors He Wants to Play Him in a Movie
ENEWS featured a sit-down interview with Allen on Wednesday, asking who he would like to portray him in a movie.
“Chris Hemsworth,” Allen said. “I’ve always said Chris Pratt. Yeah, no, I’m going back to Pratt, but I feel like he’s too old now. I don’t know, but Hemsworth is probably the same age. Feel like someone with a better physique to play me because I can look on screen. I don’t look anything like that, but that would be cool.”
Hemsworth is known for playing Thor in the Marvel series movies, and Pratt also starred in the Marvel universe playing Peter Quill in Guardians of the Galaxy.
It would be interesting to see one of the two actors play Allen in a movie. However, both are over 40, so Allen is likely correct that they are probably too old to portray him.
If there is ever a movie about Allen’s life, it will likely focus on his playing days, so he will need a young actor to play him.
There’s probably a young actor that Allen doesn’t know about who will one day play him in a movie.
Allen could totally have a movie in the future, just like NFL Hall of Famer Kurt Warner did when American Underdog came out in 2021.
Warner had a crazy journey to his NFL career, playing in the Arena Football League and NFL Europe before he got a chance to make the NFL.
Warner would lead the St. Louis Rams to a Super Bowl victory in 2000.
Allen Could be Like Warner Soon
Allen is looking to be just like Warner and win a Super Bowl, and it could come this season. The Bills are off to a 2-0 start and look like the best team in the AFC.
Buffalo came back from a 15-point deficit against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1, securing a significant win. It first helps the Bills with seeding in the AFC come playoff time since Buffalo will have the tiebreaker on the Ravens, and it also helped the Bills get momentum in their Week 2 win over the New York Jets.
