Kris Jenner is putting her fresh face forward as the newest ambassador for makeup brand MAC.
The Kardashian matriarch stars in a new campaign for MAC’s Studio Fix Foundation, which promises 24-hour coverage in natural-looking shades that work for more than 60 skin tones (Jenner wears shade “NC20” which is a medium-to-deep color).
Jenner poses for celebrity photographer Inez and Vinoodh as part of the “I Only Wear MAC” campaign, highlighting her “flawless finish” and proving that “Kris knows how to own a moment,” per a release.
The original Studio Fix Foundation was launched in 1992 (before Jenner had even given birth to Kendall or Kylie), and it quickly became a MAC bestseller. The company has since expanded the line to include both powder and fluid formulas.
Jenner promotes the Studio Fix Fluid Foundation, which is billed as a “buildable, breathable foundation with a natural, soft-matte finish.” The formula is great for perfecting skin tone and covering blemishes, but it’s also infused with skincare ingredients like red algae extract and hyaluronic acid for hydration, and a sugar kelp extract, which is said to help control oil.
MAC says its new “Pro Fluid Technology” lets the foundation move with your skin, meaning less flaking and caking. The foundation is available in 67 shades (from light to deep), highlighting MAC’s commitment to diversity and representation. In fact, the company says 100% of people who visited their website were able to find a matching shade online.
Speaking of representation, the 69-year-old Jenner is one of the oldest celebrities who have fronted a MAC campaign (Doja Cat is the brand’s current global ambassador). This is also the entrepreneur’s first big brand partnership since she copped to getting a facelift earlier this year. But as the saying goes, “age is just a number.” As MAC declares in a press release, “Kris embraces confidence, reinvention and her signature wit while showcasing a refreshed look… reinforcing that age is no barrier to beauty.”
