AIG Adeniran Cautions Policemen Against Wife Battery

The Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG Zone Three, Mr. Akinwale Kunle Adeniran has cautioned policemen serving in Adamawa State against beating their wives.

He issued the caution on his visit to the senior policemen and women attached to the Command to always exercise caution in dealing with their wives, especially during heated arguments.

He said, “Women talk like typewriter. If you say one thing, they will say one thousand. So, don’t look at their mouth but always look at ur own brain to contain the situation because if you look at their mouths you will slap them anday kill a human being. Then it will no more be you and your family but the Government against you

He pointed out that beating their wives was a diversionary thing anybody could do.

Adeniran also called on policemen to always avoid borrowing money even if the salary is not enough before month ends because some officers keep borrowing which causes economic strangulation.

He pleaded with the policemen to handle issues of their economy carefully despite the facts that food items have skyrocketed across the country and managing families has becomes cumbersome.

During the visit of the AIG who was received by the State Police Commissioner of Adamawa Mr MF Dankwombo, including Civilians JTF, Yanbanga, Vigilantes, insurgents experts members of the Police Community Relations officers and Journalists.

The CP MF Dankwombo innumerate the laudable projects he has executed under his short tenure as the Commissioner of Police in Adamawa which included building a befitting police headquarters which was commissioned by IGP Egbetokun.

Dankwombo said smuggling activities and insurgency sandstorm have been brought to a manageable level due to the collaboration with other sister security operations and CJTF, Yanbanga, Vigilantes insurgents experts and PCRC.

He said the Shira boys menace has been brought down drastically and the state is now peaceful.

He said the current problems confronting the Police Command is dilapidated police headquarters in the 21 local government areas and divisions.

He also listed inadequate man power to man additional police stations in sensitive places is another thing causing problems for the command.

He called on the government and individuals to reach out to the command to extricate the people from the pangs of deprivation and want.
