Olivia Attwood brands This Morning 'the dream' in major career update

Olivia Attwood has branded This Morning ‘the dream’ as she provided a major career update regarding her television future. The former Love Island star made her debut on the ITV breakfast programme last month as Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard enjoyed some time off from their presenting duties. Presenting alongside Dermot O’Leary , Olivia was one of a number of temporary hosts brought in to fill in for Cat and Ben during their break. During her debut episode, Olivia shined a light on being diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder [ADHD] as an adult during a discussion on an employment tribunal ruling that employers should provide ‘reasonable adjustments’ such as ADHD training for their staff. On top of being candid about her personal life, Olivia interviewed a range of famous faces, including Keely Hawes and Gavin and Stacey legend Alison Steadman. Olivia is also the face of the new ITV documentary series Getting Filthy Rich, game show Bad Boyfriends and is a regular on panel show Loose Women . Despite being one of the busiest people in showbusiness, she isn’t ruling out returning to This Morning in the future. Reflecting on how she found her first stint on the programme, she said: “I loved it and luckily they loved me, which was all I was worried about. “They were happy and I did the slots I had over summer. From their side and our side, we’d like it to be a repeat thing. “Now it’s going back into regular scheduling with Cat and Ben so it’s more just where and when I could pop back in and obviously around the other things I’m doing.” A major positive of her experience on the talk show was getting to work with Dermont, with Olivia having nothing but nice things to say about the former X Factor presenter. “I loved it and Dermot was just the dream to work alongside. Honestly, I have so much respect for him as a broadcaster and it was like surreal, but it was, I really enjoyed it. Hopefully I’ll be able to do a few more,” she teased. Olivia’s comments arrive after fellow guest presenter Joel Dommett expressed his desire to get a full-time gig on the programme. “I think I would. I really enjoy it. And the crew and production team deserve huge credit – producing a live two-and-a-half hour show every day that’s genuinely entertaining is unbelievably difficult. “The only pressure I feel is to do justice to all their hard work,” he told the new issue of Woman magazine.
