Controversial political commentator, Appiah Stadium, expressed his heartfelt apology to Ghanaian professional footballer Mohammed Kudus over comments he made about him ahead of Ghana’s match against Mali.
Appiah Stadium apologises to Kudus
After the 1:0 victory for the Black Stars, Appiah Stadium spoke to the media and bloggers about his pre-match interview, where he lashed out at Kudus and other Black Stars players.
In the trending video, he mentioned that if Kudus, Jordan Ayew and Antoine Semenyo spoil any chances or are not impressive on the pitch, they would regret ever playing for the Balck Stars.
After the Black Stars’ victory, the controversial political commentator made a U-turn and expressed his profound apologies to the Tottenham Hotspur attacking midfielder.
Sharing his analysis on the match, he noted that Kudus was exceptional and impactful during the game.
“Tell Kudus that I take off my cap for him. Please, if I made any ill comments about Kudus, Kudus should forgive me. He is a phenomenal player than all the Black Stars players,” he said in the video.
Appiah Stadium expressed his frustrations towards Jordan Ayew for his misconduct after being substituted from the game by Coach Otto Addo.
“Does Jordan think he owns the Black Stars? It is as if the Black Stars has been sold to Jordan Ayew,” he lamented.
He also noted that the team’s performance in the game against Mali was abysmal despite securing the three points. He also urged Coach Otto Addo to make better tactics so that many Ghanaians are not on the edge of their seats during the game.
