Elefantec Global Sets Spanish-Language Micro Drama Pact Wit My Drama

Here comes another player in the micro drama arena: Elefantec Global has set a partnership with the My Drama platform create Spanish-language content in the booming vertical video space.
The pact brings together media firm Elefantec, which has offices in Los Angeles and Mexico City, with My Drama, a streaming content platform that is run by tech firm Holywater.
“This partnership brings together the best of both worlds in perfect synergy,” said Bogdan Nesvit, co-founder of Holywater. “Elefantec is a true leader in crafting premium content for Spanish-speaking audiences. Pair that with My Drama’s vertical‑first playbook, strong distribution engine, and deeply engaged user base, and you have a pipeline built for breakout hits. Vertical series are becoming a core part of mainstream entertainment.”
The collaboration will expand My Drama and Elefantec’s content in the micro drama world, also known as vertical video as the series are designed for viewing vertically on smartphones. My Drama will continue to partner with studios and talent to create new series in partnership with Holywater, an entertainment ecosystem spanning vertical video, audiobooks, and e-books.
“We’ve spent our careers crafting blockbuster telenovelas for Spanish-speaking audiences; now we’re reinventing the format for the screen people hold in their hands several times a day to satisfy their information and entertainment needs,” said Pepe Bastón, CEO and founder of Elefantec Global. “Mobile isn’t the future, it’s the present, and we’re meeting audiences there with the stories they like and studio‑quality productions.”
My Drama’s recent releases consist of “The Diamond Rose,” a romance-thriller starring Kasey Esser and produced by Scott Brown. In April 2025, My Drama won a Webby Award for Best Streaming Service.
Holywater will continue to manage its four apps, including My Drama alongside FreeBits, a companion vertical streaming app, My Passion, an e-book platform and My Muse, a platform for vertical series produced with generative AI.
Since launching in 2024, My Drama has become the #1 American and European vertical streaming app, topping download charts on both iOS and Android. The app has roughly over 7 million users, with various series producing over 20 million views online.
