'A PAW Patrol Christmas' Special to Premiere on CBS in November

Happy PAW-lidays!
CBS has announced the hour-long animated special “A PAW Patrol Christmas” will premiere on the network on Nov. 28 at 8 p.m. The program will provide viewers with a new holiday tradition with the pups from “PAW Patrol,” Spin Master Entertainment’s top-rated preschool franchise that regularly airs on Nickelodeon.
Featuring a mix of original and classic holiday songs, the special centers on construction-savvy pooch Rubble. “He is looking forward to Santa bringing him a new laser drill, but things take a turn when Santa comes down with a cold and can’t deliver any presents,” reads the logline. “When Mayor Humdinger decides he’s going to the North Pole to take all the gifts for himself, it’s up to the PAW Patrol to stop him.”
The special is part of a larger slate of hour-long “PAW Patrol” specials, each focusing on a different pup. The first one, “Valiente: A Tracker Story,” will debut Oct. 3 on Nickelodeon. The remainder of the specials will launch in 2026 alongside new Season 12 episodes of “PAW Patrol.”
Since launching in 2013, the “PAW Patrol” franchise has included the animated children’s show, specials and box office blockbusters like “PAW Patrol: The Movie” and “PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie.” The spinoff “Rubble & Crew” debuted in 2023, following Rubble and his family as they build and repair projects in the town of Builder Cove.
“PAW Patrol” is distributed in 180 territories and has been translated in 33 languages. The series is distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.
