Kerry Washington, Joseph Gordon-Levitt Set For Propper Daley BPI Event

A Day of Unreasonable Conversation — the one-day summit that brings together creators, policymakers, and cultural leaders for candid conversations designed to challenge beliefs, expand perspectives and influence onscreen stories — returns to Los Angeles on Oct. 6
The event, held at the Getty Center, is a program of social impact agency Propper Daley BPI, produced in partnership with culture change agency Invisible Hand. The event will bring together more than 500 leading television creators and 150 top digital storytellers for discussions on policy, advocacy and philanthropy.
This year’s event will be co-chaired by Simpson Street’s Kerry Washington and Pilar Savone, Greg Berlanti and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who will all speak on stage and help shape the day’s program. Participants will also include former White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, Hasan Piker, Jay Shetty, Phil Rosenthal, Eddie Huang, Terry Crews, Mara Brock-Akil, Kumail Nanjiani, Oscar Nuñez, Sara Gilbert, Jake Shane, former Congressman Adam Kinzinger, Vic Blends, Todd Rose, Nabela Noor, Dhar Mann and Ruby Ibarra. Comedian Atsuko Okatsuka will serve as emcee.
“We are honored to be co-chairing A Day of Unreasonable Conversation for the second year in a row. This gathering affirms what’s possible when culture-makers and change-makers join forces: new ideas take shape, barriers give way, and a shared vision of a more just and connected world comes into focus,” Washington and Savone said in a statement. “At a moment when division can feel louder than dialogue, we are reminded that storytelling is not only a bridge between us, but also a catalyst for the future we aspire to build together.”
Greg Propper, president of Propper Daley BPI and founder of A Day of Unreasonable Conversation, added: “Our goal is for everyone to walk out with a new lens on the issues they thought they already understood. Stories don’t just mirror culture, they shape it. And when leaders from Hollywood and public life come together, we create the space to imagine new possibilities and spark the narratives that can move society forward.”
