As Prime Minister Narendra Modi turned 75 today, wishes poured in from around the world. Prominent figures from all walks of life extended their greetings on his birthday. He received messages from several world leaders, celebrities, and Indian politicians. Many of these wishes highlighted India’s growing global influence.
World leaders, including Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, US President Donald Trump and former UK PM Rishi Sunak, extended warm wishes to PM Modi.
Trump Praises PM Modi For Doing ‘Tremendous Job’ In Birthday Post
Donald Trump marked the occasion with a phone call to PM Narendra Modi on his birthday eve. During their conversation, the two leaders discussed major global issues, including the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening India–US relations.
“Just had a wonderful phone call with my friend, Prime Minister Narendra Modi. I wished him a very Happy Birthday! He is doing a tremendous job. Narendra: Thank you for your support on ending the War between Russia and Ukraine! President DJ T,” President Trump posted on his Truth Social account.
Putin Praises PM Modi’s ‘Personal Contribution’ In Boosting India-Russia Ties
Russian President Vladimir Putin also wished PM Modi, praising his leadership and global stature. In his message, Putin noted that PM Modi’s tenure has brought India significant progress in social, economic, scientific, and technological fields. He also commended Modi’s personal contribution to strengthening the strategic partnership between India and Russia. Highlighting their close and comradely relationship, Putin expressed confidence in continuing their constructive dialogue and cooperation on bilateral and global issues.

“Your work as head of government has earned you great respect from your compatriots and enormous prestige on the international stage. Under your guidance, India has achieved impressive results in the social, economic, scientific and technological spheres. You are making a great personal contribution to strengthening the privileged strategic partnership between our countries and to promoting mutually beneficial Russian-Indian cooperation in various areas. Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu extended warm wishes to PM Modi, referring to him as a “good friend.” In a heartfelt video message, Netanyahu praised Modi for his remarkable accomplishments for India and highlighted the significant progress made in strengthening the India-Israel partnership under his leadership.

Australian PM’s Warm Wishes For PM Modi
Australian PM Anthony Albanese greeted PM Modi on his 75th birthday, calling him a “friend.” He said Australia is proud to share a strong bond with India and expressed gratitude for the remarkable contributions of the Indian community in Australia.
“Happy birthday to my friend Prime Minister Modi. Australia is proud to share such a strong friendship with India, and we’re grateful every day for the incredible contribution of the Indian community here in Australia. I look forward to catching up with you soon, Prime Minister, and many more years of friendship and progress,” Albanese said.
‘Modi Ji Has Always Been A Good Friend’: Rishi Sunak
Meanwhile, former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Rishi Sunak also wished PM Modi on his birthday and released a video message.

Italian PM Giorgia Meloni also extended warm birthday wishes to PM Modi, praising his strength, determination, and leadership.

Dalai Lama Writes To PM Modi On His Birthday
Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, also extended birthday greetings to PM Modi, wishing him continued good health. He also wrote a letter to the PM to extend birthday greetings. “As India’s longest-staying guest, I have witnessed firsthand the far-reaching development and prosperity that have taken place over the years. I congratulate you on the growing confidence and strength that have occurred in recent times. India’s success also contributes to global development,” the letter read.
