After returning to the music scene this year with an arena tour, Lewis Capaldi is heading on an eight-date outdoor tour next year , including one night in Manchester. The Scottish singer-songwriter broke his two-year performing hiatus when he appeared in a mystery slot at Glastonbury Festival in June 2025, after taking a break from touring to focus on his physical and mental health. His break commenced shortly after his Glastonbury 2023 performance when the star struggled to get through his set due to suffering from Tourette’s Syndrome, which he has spoken openly about in the past few years. Prior to his Glastonbury comeback, Lewis played a run of Scottish warm up shows in May that saw him return to the stage as a guest of mental health charity CALM, in celebration of Mental Health Awareness Week. But since his return to the music scene after Glastonbury, Lewis has released a new single, Survive, and has began his UK arena tour . Lewis is currently part way through a sold-out UK arena tour which includes two nights at Manchester’s Co-Op Live Arena on September 20 and 21, and following this string of dates, he has now announced eight outdoor gigs kicking off in June 2026. These outdoor gigs will give more fans the opportunity to see the Bruises star perform live as they have higher capacities compared to the arenas he is performing at over September. The Someone You Loved hitmaker is set to perform at eight outdoor music events include Manchester’s Wythenshawe Park on August 22, 2026. Other performances include the newly announced American Express presents Roundhay Festival in Leeds on July 4 with a capacity of 69,999, as well as the BST Hyde Park on July 11 which boasts a capacity of 65,000.
