After BlackBuck CEO announced to move his logistics firm out of Bengaluru’s Outer Ring Road Area, Andhra Pradesh minister Nara Lokesh has made an offer to co-founder Rajesh Yabaji, asking him to relocate to Vizag and consider it as a possible option. This comes after Digital trucking platform BlackBuck announced it will vacate its Bellandur office after nine years of operations. What triggered the outrage is the reason behind its relocation. The CEO stressed that the daily commute in Bengaluru has become “unbearable”, adding that the roads are riddled with potholes, thick dust and are simply falling apart. Why consider Vizag? Following this, the Andhra minister took to X, offering Yabaji an option to consider, citing that it is rated among the top 5 cleanest cities in India and is building best-in-class infrastructure. Moreover, Lokesh further said that Vizag has been rated the safest city for women. “Hi Rajesh, can I interest you in relocating your company to Vizag? We are rated among the top 5 cleanest cities in India, are building best-in-class infra, and have been rated the safest city for women. Please send me a DM,” the Andhra minister said, sharing his offer. The post shared by BlackBuck CEO Yabaji has triggered concerns over the civic and infrastructure issues in Bengaluru, the IT capital. Later, Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, executive chairperson of Biocon and a key voice of India Inc., called for “emergency measures” to address the issues.
