The Embassy of Uzbekistan in India has issued a warning to citizens in Nepal, where protests are taking place in the capital Kathmandu and several other cities. A curfew has been imposed in affected areas.
According to the embassy, clashes have been reported and information about injuries is circulating. Uzbek citizens are urged to follow the instructions of the Nepalese government, stay away from crowded places, avoid protest areas, and strictly observe local regulations.

Earlier, the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul also issued a warning to citizens due to ongoing protests in Turkey.
