Nishaanchi: Cuss Words Censored At 12 Places In Anurag Kashyap Film? Here’s What We Know

Nishaanchi, starring Aaishvary Thackeray and Vedika Pinto, is just two days away from its theatrical release. Directed by Anurag Kashyap, the crime drama will be released on September 19, 2025. It will clash with Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi’s courtroom drama Jolly LLB 3. Ahead of that, it has been reported that CBFC censored cuss words at 12 places in Anurag Kashyap’s movie. Read on to know more details… Cuss words censored in Nishaanchi? According to Bollywood Hungama, Nishaanchi hasn’t got any visuals cuts, meaning all scenes have been untouched – violent and romantic. As per the cut list, CBFC’s examining committee requested the makers to modify a particular foul word in six instances. Moreover, cuss words used in six scenes were reportedly asked to be modified. After the changes were reportedly made, the film was passed with U/A certificate on August 21, 2025. The entertainment portal further reported that the length of the film (as per censor certificate) is 2 hour 56 minutes and 48 seconds long. Can I see the character in them, how much work are they putting in, and how much time are they putting in for the film? It’s not just that I am giving someone a chance. Main character dhoond raha hoon.” The filmmaker further mentioned, “If I’m making Nishaanchi, then I’m looking for Babloo and Dabloo, I’m searching for Rinku, I’m looking for their mother.
