Tone-deaf cult fitness guru reveals her 'psychotic' process of drinking water at all her multimillion-dollar mansions

Celebrity fitness guru Tracy Anderson detailed a series of out-of-touch health habits she swears by – including a ‘psychotic’ approach to drinking tap water in her multimillion-dollar homes.

The 50-year-old revealed that she uses ‘custom water system’ in ‘all of my homes,’ which span the country from New York’s tony Hamptons to Pennsylvania to the wilds of Montana.

‘Water is a big topic. I’m nervous about our water,’ Anderson shared in an interview with The Cut, noting that she refuses to drink out of plastic bottles.

‘I’m kind of psychotic about it. I have a custom water system with triple filters in all of my homes,’ she added.

Anderson, who has trained the likes of Madonna, Jennifer Lopez and Gwyneth Paltrow, also explained that she forgoes showering for a dip in the pool after working out while outlining her expensive wellness routines.

‘I’m very fortunate to live in different beautiful places,’ she made sure to add.

Anderson owns a multimillion-dollar home in the Hamptons and a ranch in Montana.

She recently put two other houses up for sale – one in celeb-friendly New Hope, Pennsylvania and the other in Los Angeles’ tony Brentwood area.

She purchased the Los Angeles house for $7.36 million in 2023 and sold it for just under $10 million this year.

Her Pennsylvania property is still on the market for $5.95 million, almost three times as much as the $2.35 million she spent to buy it in 2020.

Readers called out Anderson for coming across as tone-deaf in the interview – with many saying that she ought to simply be grateful that she has access to running water.

‘”In all of my homes,” very relatable,’ one wrote on Instagram.

‘She sounds very vapid and totally detached from reality,’ another added.

‘The only thing Tracy Anderson has used to the last drop is her soul, a long time ago,’ a third chimed in.

‘Cannot. Stand. Her,’ wrote another.

Anderson, who is known for developing a workout system she calls the Tracy Anderson Method, has a business partnership with Paltrow.

Many of the products she promotes are sold by Goop, Paltrow’s wellness and lifestyle company.

She has faced controversies for overpriced services at her fitness studios, shading Meghan Markle’s kitchen in a Goop advertisement, creating ‘grueling conditions’ for her employees and making fun of clients’ bodies behind their backs.

Anderson did not respond to Daily Mail’s request for comment.
