MEXC Foundation, an impact driven firm, is set to create an open and sustainable Web3 ecosystem where opportunities, knowledge, and impact are available. With a $30 million commitment, MEXC is using education, empowerment, and community giving to make Web3 a force for change.
Blockchain can be a complex technology for traders and developers, but the foundation is proving it can be used to empower people through Web3.
Chief Operating Officer, Tracy Jin, said: “For blockchain and the broader crypto industry to leap forward, we need more than technology. We need education, empowerment, and strong communities to translate innovation into real-world adoption.”

From scholarships and youth programmes to disaster relief and incubators for innovators, the foundation is turning blockchain into an opportunity engine for communities.
Launched in 2025, MEXC Foundation is more than just another corporate social responsibility project. It’s a turning point in how blockchain can impact lives.
The foundation pledges to empower Web3 builders by focusing on education, inclusion, and sustainability to support ideas, nurture talent, and turn innovation into real solutions.
This is captured in its slogan: Empower Communities, Shape the Future. At the heart of its work are three pillars. These are not isolated projects but commitments that connect technology with realities.
Education is the cornerstone of progress, and the foundation has placed it at the centre of its work. By offering scholarships, partnering universities, and creating learning platforms, the foundation ensures young people are not just consumers of Web3 but builders of it.
Courses on blockchain basics, DeFi, NFTs, and smart contracts are developed, with certification programmes that give learners credibility. This prepares students to be active in the digital economy.
In 2025, the focus is on building its brand identity, launching its website, and kicking off flagship education programmes in partnership with universities. Certification and recognition programmes for participating communities are also being prepared.
By 2026, the foundation will move into community activation with diversity-focused projects, blockchain-for-impact hackathons, and learning hubs that include workshops and career mentorships.
Looking further, the plan includes incubators for social-impact Web3 projects, green grants for sustainable blockchain innovation, and the release of annual reports to share progress and impact.
Although MEXC Foundation is still in its early stages, it has demonstrated impact in different regions. With $30 million CSR fund, resources are directed into programmes that combine education, empowerment, and social good. This early rollout is positioning the foundation not only as a financial supporter but also as a long-term ecosystem builder. The focus has been on reaching students, nurturing young talent, and creating platforms where communities can participate in the Web3 economy.
A major milestone has been the partnerships with universities and learning institutions, which serve as the bedrock of the education pillar. For example, in India, MEXC collaborated with Indian Institute of Technology through Akiverse Campus programme, delivering hands-on blockchain education and awareness to students. Similar partnerships are mapped in Africa, where campus blockchain clubs and university roadshows are set to launch as part of scholarship and mentorship programmes. These partnerships ensure Web3 knowledge reaches students at the grassroots, equipping them with foundational literacy and pathways to internships, career bootcamps, and incubation opportunities.
The foundation is also investing in community-driven initiatives as hackathons, student ambassador programmes, and regional bootcamps.
In South Asia and Africa, where blockchain adoption is accelerating, these events are connecting aspiring builders with mentors, project founders, and venture partners.
Student hackathons are used as launchpads for ideas, while ambassador programmes are enabling young leaders to drive blockchain awareness in their circles.
