Cayman: Scotiabank Expands Digital Platform

Clients Able to Access Daily Mutual Fund Balances and More Online

George Town, Cayman— Scotiabank has announced upgrades to its digital banking platforms, significantly improving how clients interact with and manage their personal mutual fund accounts. Effective August 15, clients can now access daily online balances for all Scotia Funds holdings via the Scotia Caribbean Banking App and Online Banking platforms.

By enhancing the interface to provide daily account balances, Scotiabank is supporting clients with greater control over their investment portfolios.

In addition to daily balance access, the upgraded platform introduces several new features designed to streamline portfolio management and improve the overall experience. Clients can now:

Filter holdings by asset and class, allowing for more precise tracking and analysis of investment allocations.

View detailed transaction information, including transaction type, price and amount, offering deeper insights into account activity.

Access transaction history for up to 13 months, enabling users to review past performance and make informed decisions.

These enhancements reflect Scotiabank’s commitment to delivering innovative, client-centered solutions that meet the evolving needs of today’s investors.

Chervain Stuart, Director Retail and Small Business Banking, emphasized the importance of the upgrade in the context of the company’s broader strategic goals. “In our continued commitment to improving the client experience, we’ve introduced enhancements that make our systems more intuitive, reliable and aligned across all platforms and regions. This latest upgrade simplifies how clients engage with their portfolios, offering greater clarity and control. By providing timely and easily accessible insights, we’re helping our clients make informed decisions and stay confidently on track toward their financial goals”, said Stuart.

The rollout of these new features is part of a larger digital transformation initiative at Scotiabank, aimed at modernizing platforms and aligning with global best practices in financial technology. Scotia Group has been investing in infrastructure and user experience improvements to ensure that clients across the Caribbean region benefit from seamless, secure and intuitive digital services.

Scotiabank continues to prioritize innovation, accessibility and transparency in its service offerings. Clients are encouraged to explore the new features by logging into their accounts via the Scotia Caribbean Banking App or Online Banking portal.
