PROSTATE CANCER SYMPOSIUM Wednesday, September 24, 2025 (6pm – 8pm) The Prostate Cancer Educational Institute of Virginia (PCEIVa) is pleased to announce an educational symposium with our partners at Virginia Urology. We will have these experts speaking on topics in their respective fields: David Miller, M.D.: “Male Urinary Incontinence – Diagnosis, Treatment, and Quality of Life” Dr. Miller is a board-certified urologist with over 30 years of experience in the field. He earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia and completed his surgical and urology training at Vanderbilt University, where he also served as Chief Resident. With advanced fellowship training in urologic oncology from Monash Medical Center in Australia, Dr. Miller brings a wealth of expertise to the discussion on male incontinence—a topic he has both researched extensively and treated throughout his career. Kinloch Nelson, M.D.: “Let’s Talk Prostate: What Every Man Needs to Understand” Dr. Nelson is a board-certified urologist with specialized expertise in urologic oncology and robotic surgery. He earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia and completed both his surgical internship and urology residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital – Cornell Medical Center. With a strong focus on prostate health, Dr. Nelson brings years of clinical experience and advanced training to the important discussion on prostate cancer and overall prostate wellness. Anthony Sliwinski, M.D: “Men’s Health Matters: A Urologist’s Perspective on Men’s Wellness” Dr. Sliwinski is a board-certified urologist with nearly four decades of experience in men’s health. He earned his M.D. from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. in 1986. He went on to complete both his internship and residency in surgery and urology at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. Certified by the American Board of Urology since 1993, Dr. Sliwinski has dedicated his career to addressing the unique health concerns men face throughout their lives.
