Farmfoods pulls pasta from all shelves in England, Northern Ireland and Wales

Farmfoods is pulling one of its products from stores over health risk fears. Its Farmfoods Chicken & Spinach Pasta, with a best-before date of January 2027 and pack size of 350g, could make some customers ill. This is because it could contain seafood which is not on the label, the Food Standards Agency said. Anyone with a seafood allergy or intolerance could become sick if they eat the pasta. Now, all customers who have purchased the product are being told to return it to a store for a refund. Farmfoods said it was recalling the pasta as a ‘precautionary measure’. It added: “We take consumer safety very seriously and sincerely apologise to our loyal customers for this situation and any inconvenience it may have caused.” L5192B05D L5192C05D L5193C05D L5193A05D L5193B05D Don’t miss the biggest and breaking stories by signing up to the BirminghamLive newsletter here .
