It can be a risky business trying to pick the right ring for your fiancée, but we have to say Aoife Walsh’s partner, Ben, has done well!
The former Miss Ireland, 36, had no idea what he was up to when he took her out on a rooftop terrace during a romantic trip to Lisbon this month.
Completely taken by surprise, Aoife said it was ‘the easiest yes of my life,’ and from her reaction, we can tell that she loved the ring chosen for her.
The exciting news comes just weeks after the model hard-launched her new romance on social media with an adorable video with her new beau, confirming she’d found her Mr Right after waiting patiently.
Showing a close-up of the sparkler, Aoife revealed that Ben went for a large, rectangular cushion-cut diamond that sits on a gold band.
Writing beside the post, she said she’s still ‘on absolute cloud 9.’ Trying to describe her feelings, she stated, ‘It’s so hard to put into words how I feel except that euphoric feeling of pure happiness.
‘I’m so grateful for what life had in store for me all along. Literally can’t believe, it’s like I’m so emotional!’
Addressing Ben, she said, ‘Can’t wait to be your wife.’

She then ended by saying, ‘I’ll for sure share the full engagement story with you gals once I get my head around it all. It’s a good one. Ben is such a romantic and totally caught me on the hop!’
