A chaotic scene unfolded in the car park of a busy Welsh hospital after a recovery vehicle drove off with a car that then fell off and landed on some others. The incident, which happened on Tuesday morning, left frustrated visitors stuck for more than an hour as attempts to resolve the issue continued. Witnesses reported seeing the car slip halfway off the back of a recovery vehicle as it was leaving the Princess of Wales Hospital in Bridgend , causing it to crash into several parked vehicles and completely block access to parking spaces. Shocking scenes followed as repeated attempts to drag the car back onto the truck failed, leaving the vehicle hanging precariously. A second recovery truck had to be called to the scene. A witness claimed that it took around an hour and a half before the car was finally secured and the car park cleared. During this time, several parked cars had been damaged and hospital visitors were left stranded, unable to move their vehicles. The car was hanging dangerously off the side of the recovery truck, hitting other vehicles and blocking the whole car park. “People were stuck for over an hour and a half before they finally managed to sort it out.” A video of the incident was shared with WalesOnline, showing what appears to be a white Nissan dangerously hanging from the back of a large recovery vehicle, the whole of its left side leaning against several parked cars. Meanwhile, a second video shows three men working together to drag the recovery vehicle towards them, making evident progress as the Nissan is visibly away from the parked vehicles.
