    Here are the nominees for the Quad-City Times Player of the Week.

    Neil Brown, Davenport North football
    In North’s 28-0 victory over Marion, Brown, a junior transfer in his first year with the program, completed 17 of 26 passes for a school record 403 yards and four TDs.

    Joiner, a senior, caught eight passes for 321 yards and three scores in North’s 28-0 win against Marion.
    McKenzie Moeller, North Scott volleyball
    The senior attacker recorded 22 kills to lead the Lancers to a thrilling five-set Mississippi Athletic Conference victory over Pleasant Valley.
    Grant Sherrick, Pleasant Valley boys golf
    Fired a 6-under 66 at Weaver Ridge Golf Club during the second day of the 15-team Metamora Cardinal Classic to lead the Spartans to the team title with a 286-284—570 team total. Sherrick, a senior, shot a 1-under 71 the day before in the opening round at Coyote Creek Golf Club.
    Mazie Sweers, Pleasant Valley volleyball
    The junior logged match-high totals in assists (51) and digs (19) in a tough five-set Mississippi Athletic Conference setback to North Scott.
    AJ Willey, Bettendorf boys cross country
    Set a school record in the 5K with a 15:08.7 clocking in the Cedar Rapids Invitational at Seminole Valley Park in Cedar Rapids. That topped Erik Goff’s 15:25, which had stood as the varsity record since 1999.
