In a bid to enhance passenger experience and foster community engagement, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) will celebrate Yatri Seva Diwas at Mysuru Airport on Wednesday.
MP for Mysuru Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar will inaugurate the event and will also participate in a tree plantation drive under the theme “Maa ke naam pe ek ped”.
In the day-long programme, several health and welfare activities have been organised for passengers and airport staff members. Apart from this, a blood donation camp in collaboration with the Mysuru district health authorities, a free health check-up camp in association with Manipal Hospital, Mysuru, and a free eye check-up camp, organised jointly with Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital, Mysuru, will take place. These initiatives reflect AAI’s commitment to supporting public health, besides passengers’ welfare, said a press release.
In addition, the celebration will have career guidance sessions aimed at helping school students explore opportunities in the aviation sector. Cultural activities will also be performed at the airport to showcase local traditions and add vibrancy to the initiative.
The AAI remains dedicated to improving passenger services, making Yatri Seva Diwas a meaningful and inclusive observance at the Mysuru Airport, the release added.
