A new brand has begun work transforming the former Morphe store in the Bullring after the makeup brand closed its doors suddenly last August. ProCook confirmed that it would open a kitchenware business in the centre back in June, though the exact location hadn’t been identified. Now hoarding has gone up between Vision Express and Kenji that promises ‘something special is coming’ in autumn. ProCook sells electricals, cookware, bakeware, knives, tableware and drinkware and says ‘ Birmingham , you’re in for a treat’. The new addition comes during a time of transition for the Bullring which is welcoming a number of new brands. Among them are Bath and Body Works in Next over in the East Mall – also set to open in the autumn – and a branch of MiniSo beside the Vans shop on the ground floor of that same side. Victoria’s Secret is also returning , taking over Next in the outdoor spot near the Bull. Meanwhile, round at Grand Central, a brand is gearing up for a significant launch in the old MenKind unit. Søstrene Grene will open this Friday, October 19 , with free gifts for the first 100 customers . In the food court, Pizza Pilgrims is preparing to open in the former Tapas Revolution unit. And on Link Street, that connects the Bullring and Grand Central, a replacement has been confirmed for the old Trapstar unit. Burger and Sauce has confirmed it will be expanding its shop next door into the unit to create a bigger restaurant.
