Gardaí are investigating following a shocking alleged daylight shooting incident in Dublin over one week ago.
Gardaí launched a probe following the alleged discharge of a firearm at around 1:50pm on Monday, September 1 in Hollytree Square, Ballymun.
In footage seen by the Irish Mirror an individual can be seen firing a shot at two individuals riding a scrambler bike in Ballymun as he runs away from them. The individual who fires the shot then runs off as the pair on the scrambler drive in the other direction.
Gardaí confirmed that no injuries were reported and that investigations are ongoing following the incident.
A Garda spokesperson told the Irish Mirror: “Gardaí are investigating the alleged discharge of a firearm that occurred at approximately 1:50pm on the 1 of September 2025 in Hollytree Square, Ballymun, Dublin 11. No injuries were reported. Investigations are ongoing.”
