The Traitors’ Eamon O’Keeffe gave a big clue that Paudie was a traitor before his dramatic exit from the show last weekend.
The Garda had no intention of revealing he news fully, but he wanted to cast some doubt in the minds of the faithfuls around the table.
He also cleared up what happened in the conversation between him, Paudie and Katelyn that sealed his fate to leave the RTÉ show.

Eamon told RSVP Live: “I respect everybody’s time, I respect the game, I respect the rest of the contestants and I respect the team that works on the show.
“I would never ever do that [tell everyone that Paudie was traitor] and it never crossed my mind.
“But I gave a subtle hint with how large I wrote his name on the board. Check mate, fair play, you got me and I am gone.”
Eamon expected the remaining players to pick up on his clue and to question why he was so adamant to see Paudie leave, especially because Nick and Ben had figured out that Katelyn was a traitor.
He said: “I was shocked that he got no notes because there was such heat on him. If I was a player in the castle I would be looking at the number one clue from me.
“What was the first traitor at? What was he doing? Why was he so adamant to get Paudie out?
“I wrote Paudie’s name big on the board, that was an easter egg I dropped for them. It will be interesting to see where they go next.”
Eamon, Katelyn and Paudie had a private conversation, which appeared to be out in the open, before his banishment from the castle.
He explained: “That wasn’t actually public, you didn’t see that. Because there are so many players there it is hard to get the chance to actually chat to each other one on one.
“What you saw there was the only time the three of us sat down together. It was under the stairs past the kitchen.
“Things were hot, heavy and heated. Tensions were high.”
Eamon gathered in the dungeons to murder someone every night with Katelyn and Paudie, but the viewers only saw a very condensed version of their debate.
He revealed: “I don’t think it should take as long as it did. It was hard for us to agree on things. You are talking a half an hour minimum in the spider dungeon.
“One night we were there for close to an hour. We had a couple of barneys in there.”
