Iceland is set to offer 10 per cent off at the tills from WEDNESDAY. Wednesday, 15 September, brings with it the chance for Iceland shoppers to get 10 per cent off if they show ID at the till for two weeks until the end of the ninth month of the year. Iceland said: “STUDENTS!!! You asked so we’ve delivered! 10% Student Discount is BACK! Just show valid student ID in-store at the till between 15th-29th September.” “Iceland Foods this for college students aswell ?” one shopper asked. “shame he won’t get his uni id until freshers week on the 29th when he moves in!” a second said. Iceland is a frozen food specialist with supermarkets and retail branches up and down Birmingham , and throughout the wider West Midlands. An Iceland Foods spokesperson said: “With fees going up, we’re stepping up. Students already have enough on their plates, so we’re making sure it costs a little less to fill them. “Our 10% discount is back and to celebrate, we’re going bigger: with daily discounts this September. It’s our way of saying: we’ve got your back, from freshers’ week to exam season.” Writing another update, Iceland said: “Students of Salford. We’ve arrived and are ready to meet you all! Pop down and see us @ in the Sports Hall, Salford University House. We’ve got some freebies to giveaway and fab prizes to be won. “And don’t forget our 10% student discount offer is back between 15th September-29th September.
