Justin Herbert dropped a subtle hint about his connection to Madison Beer ahead of this week’s Monday Night Football game.
Ahead of the Los Angeles Chargers’ game against the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday, September 16, Beer, 26, posted a teaser of her new single “Yes Baby,” which drops on Friday, September 19.
“I just wanna hear you say,” she captioned the Instagram clip, which featured her walking on a treadmill in high heels.
The announcement was Beer’s first post since June. Herbert, 27, tossed a “like” on the post and fans were quick to take notice.
“JUSTIN HERBERT FOR MVP 🗣️🗣️🗣️,” one user wrote in the comments section.
Another fan credited Beer for Herbert’s outstanding performance so far this season.
“Thanks for turning @justinherbert into an actual BEAST this year 🫡,” the fan replied.
Herbert’s teammate Cameron Dicker‘s longtime girlfriend, Annie Buerk, also commented on the video.
“So much aura you would think she grows it,” Buerk gushed.
Herbert and Beer have not publicly addressed their relationship status. Us Weekly has reached out to representatives for Herbert and Beer for comment, but did not hear back.
Beer and Herbert sparked dating rumors last month, when the quarterback was spotted on the set of the pop star’s music video. While filming in Los Angeles, the pair smiled and chatted in between takes, according to photos obtained by Us. Beer also introduced Herbert to members of the music video’s crew before the duo left together in the athlete’s car.
Earlier this month, Herbert and Beer were photographed holding hands while on a group dinner date in West Hollywood with several of his teammates, per Sports Illustrated. The outing took place after the Chargers’ dominant performance over the Kansas City Chiefs in the second week of the season.
Herbert has mostly kept his dating life private since he was drafted by the Chargers in 2020. He was previously romantically linked to NFL Network commentator Taylor Bisciotti. However, they never publicly confirmed their relationship.
“I think the less people know about me, the better. I don’t want to read an article about myself,” Herbert previously told ESPN about his decision to keep his personal life private.
Beer, for her part, has been previously linked to musician Jack Gilinsky, Brooklyn Beckham, producer Zack Bia, YouTuber David Dobrik and TikTok star Nick Austin.
Earlier this year, Beer opened up about how she takes falling in love seriously.
“I love people. I meet someone, I love them,” she told Cosmopolitan in April. “I’m like, ‘OK, I’m never letting you go. You’ll be with me forever until you hurt me.’ That’s the deal. I think I also, because I have such a weird life and never feel safe and comfortable with someone, when I cross that line of ‘you’re my boyfriend,’ it feels really big.”
