Gtech slashes £90 off 'ultra-light' cordless vacuum with 'brilliant suction'

Gtech is slashing nearly a third off its cordless vacuum cleaner that’s claimed to ‘take the chore out of housework’. For a limited period, the Gtech AirRAM 2 K9 Cordless Pet Vacuum can be snapped up for £189.99, down from £279.99. This marks a saving of £90 or approximately 32% and can be secured by entering the voucher code BA48 at checkout. The code is only available for a restricted period and must be redeemed by September 30. Gtech claims the AirRAM 2 K9 ‘takes the chore out of housework’, providing heavyweight power and performance whilst gliding seamlessly from carpets to hard floors on a single setting. It has a low-profile design enabling users to tackle hard-to-reach spots, including under sofas, beds and tables, with its ‘ultra-light’ 3.2kg frame ensuring it’s simple to handle, reports the Mirror . The cordless vacuum is engineered to access tight corners and along skirting boards, capturing dirt and dust that competing models might overlook. With Gtech’s signature AirLOC technology, the device collects large debris on the push and fine dust on the pull, leaving floors spotless with minimal effort. The Gtech AirRAM 2 K9 is perfect for households with pets as it’s engineered to combat both stubborn dirt and pet hair. Gtech CEO Nick Grey said: “Being a dog owner (and lover) myself, I’m familiar with the extra mess that pets create. I wanted the AirRAM K9 to be robust enough to deal with the added mess and pet hair, yet still lightweight and simple to use.” LED lights are also integrated into the brush head to highlight concealed grime and fine hair, whilst its 22V lithium-ion battery delivers up to 40 minutes of operation on a four-hour charge. Another notable feature is the vacuum’s lightly perfumed and replaceable fragrance cartridges, which emit a gentle, fresh aroma during cleaning, leaving the home smelling pristine after use. Despite its featherweight construction, the AirRAM 2 K9 is engineered with reinforced and robust aluminium parts, ensuring longevity, with its simple-empty bin compacting debris into a tidy bale for swift and effortless disposal. The Gtech vacuum provides a more budget-friendly option compared to competing models like Samsung’s Jet 85 Pet vacuum cleaner , even with this model’s £130 reduction to £349. Meanwhile, Miele’s Duoflex HX1 is £90 cheaper at £279 and comes with a 100-day complimentary trial. However, for those remaining loyal to Gtech, the AirRAM 2 K9 Cordless Pet Vacuum has secured a 4.8-star rating following more than 9,800 reviews. One buyer commented: “AirRAM K9 delight. Simply the best upright on the market. It’s super lightweight and portable with an amazing amount of power for lifting dirt.” Another customer added: “Cat fur miracle. I have tried various solutions for our cat fur on carpet problem, including a cheaper rechargeable vacuum, and I am happy to tell you the K9 is brilliant. It works really well on the carpet and hard floor. It is light and manoeuvrable, easy to empty, and the charge lasts ages. Better than any other vacuum we’ve had, even a Dyson.” A third buyer said: “Amazing, quite easily the best vacuum I’ve owned. It’s so light and quiet yet picks up amazingly well. We have a golden retriever who sheds constantly, and this picks it all up effortlessly. It’s very easy to empty too. I would highly recommend to any pet owners.” Despite awarding four stars, this purchaser highlighted one drawback, explaining it lacks accessories and commenting: “Brilliant suction, easy to use. Four-star rating just because it doesn’t come with tools.”The AirRam Speed Cleaning Kit can be purchased for an extra £20. A final reviewer said: “Brilliant, I love it. Carpets look great after use. Lightweight, easy to handle. Love the sent stick that comes with it. Simple to empty.”
