Fans are NOT into this Tayvis spoof!
In case you missed it, Fox Sports decided to poke fun at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s engagement with… a My Big Fat Greek Wedding parody (timely, right?). Titling it My Big Fat Chiefs Wedding, the sports network got Brett Gelman — aka Murray Bauman from Stranger Things to tackle the role of KillaTrav. No offense to the comic actor, but… We know y’all are intending disrespect when this is who y’all picked for the hunky NFL star!
The actor, dressed in an 87 jersey, comes into the locker room while a voiceover says:
“She’s one of the most successful musical artists in the world, and he’s six-foot-five, but somehow they still found love.”
The video continues with “Travis” announcing to the locker room he’s getting married. An actor playing a fake Patrick Mahomes asks:
“How do you know she’s not just into you for your money? Where’s she from?”
To which Travis responds, “An hour outside of Philly” — which has the whole Chiefs locker room groaning over the implied connection to their rival Philadelphia Eagles. This is where it gets SUPER cringy, though…
The screen cuts to an actor playing KC head coach Andy Reid, trying to train an actress dressed as Taylor catch footballs on the field. Of course, they had to make her a dumb blonde because how else to portray a woman, right? There’s even a joke about T-Swizzle getting smacked in the face with a football while acting ditzy…
And this seems to be where a lot of fans’ problems come in! We mean, Swifties will always go to bat (er, pass?) for their queen when they feel someone is bullying!
The rest of the video continues with little quips like “Taylor’s Version” playbooks being handed out to the Chiefs, as well as *NSYNC‘s Joey Fatone even FaceTiming “Travis” and refusing to join in because he’s a “Giants fan”. The fake Travis then quips:
“Well I’m a Backstreet Boys fan. Bye bye bye.”
Man, this thing is chock full of timely references, huh? Man, if someone over at Fox Sports is wondering why their Mad TV packet didn’t get them an interview, we have a theory… Watch the full video (below):

Fans were not only annoyed with Taylor being the butt of several jokes, they were also just FULL of secondhand embarrassment over the cringy comedy. Across social media, they wrote:
“As soon as it started I just turned the channel”
“This was a tough watch.”
“I have to imagine some illegal substances and cold pizza at 2 am was involved in the planning and maybe even the execution of this.”
“OMG… so embarrassing.”
“As a Swiftie… WTF?”
“Seriously stop. Just stop. I’m a swiftie and I’m begging the NFL to stop, it’s so pathetic.”
“TS getting pelted with footballs? Where’s the joke?”
What do U think about this short, Perezcious readers? Is it funny? Cruel? Or just cringe?? Sound OFF in the comments (below).
