Pharmacist in Calder shooting granted $30,000 bail
A Pharmacist, charged with attempted murder, has been granted bail in the sum of $30,000.
Esworth Lewis, who is alleged to have shot a man about his body, appeared at the Serious Offences Court yesterday, October 16, 2025, where he was granted bail on the charge of using a firearm with intent to commit murder; and with the intent to commit an offence of murder on Omarie Pereira of Biabou. The charge against the 35-year-old alleges that Lewis did an act which is more than merely preparatory to the commission of the offence.
