The Tulsa Symphony Orchestra’s chamber music series, 101 Unplugged, will open a new season of performances with a concert featuring the String Quartet No. 2 in A Minor, Op. 51, by Johannes Brahms.
The concert will take place 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20 at 101 Archer, 101 E. Archer St. Tickets are $70 per person, and include light bites and one complimentary beverage. A cash bar will be open for those wishing to purchase additional libations.
“101 Unplugged offers the listener a unique chance to hear Brahms and more in a cabaret-like setting and to connect with our musicians in an informal question-and-answer session that’s just not possible in a traditional concert hall,” said Ron Predl, Executive Director of Tulsa Symphony Orchestra. “The acoustics of this unique setting bring the music to life and the conversation with the musicians provides fun and interesting insights you won’t find in program notes.”
