EXCLUSIVE: Erika Alexander‘s Color Farm Media is partnering with Stage 32 to launch a new collaborative diversity initiative.
The Diversity Talent Accelerator Pipeline will take the winner of Stage 32’s upcoming Diversity Talent Accelerator Screenwriting Contest from discovery to development, offering emerging creators a tangible pathway to getting their project produced.
“Leveraging Stage 32’s worldwide leading entertainment educational resources, the partnership launches an immersive creative ecosystem that transforms how emerging writers break into the industry.” Richard Botto, CEO and Founder of Stage 32, said in a statement Tuesday. “Great stories and talented writers shouldn’t be limited by geography, connections, or background. This pipeline ensures the best voices get the platform they deserve.”
Stage 32’s screenwriter program is a multi-tiered approach that combines intensive story development bootcamps, one-on-one mentorship with working professionals, and hands-on workshops. The Top 10 participants will have the opportunity to work with Alexander and her Color Farm Media co-founder Ben Arnon as well as unlock other advanced mentorship tracks.
Project X Entertainment’s EVP of TV Nicole Tossou, Phoenix Pictures’ VP of Development Michael Peterson, Producer Whitney Davis, Jiarui Guo and Good Fear Content’s Literary Manager Daniela Gonzalez will also be mentoring participants.
The program’s eventual winning script will immediately enter a collaborative development process between Stage 32 and Color Farm Media with the goal of pitching industry partners in 2026.
Adds Stage 32’s Director of Development Services Geoffroy Faugerolas: “I’m excited to work with Erika and Ben again. They are real champions and advocates for emerging voices. They put their words into action,” added Geoffroy Faugerolas, Director of Development Services at Stage 32. “Now we’ll be able to package and develop projects together for the benefit of underserved creators.”
