‘The Summer I Turned Pretty’ finale Boston

Wednesday marks the end of Prime Video’s “The Summer I Turned Pretty,” the hit romantic, coming-of-age series that captivated the hearts of viewers this summer with its third and final season.
An adaptation of the book trilogy of the same name by author Jenny Han, the TV show has caused quite a stir online, as audiences take sides in the story’s love triangle. Fans will be tuning in on Wednesday to see which brother ends up with main character Isabel “Belly” Conklin (Lola Tung): happy-go-lucky Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno), or the brooding, introspective Conrad (Connecticut native Christopher Briney). The series is set on Cousin’s Beach, a fictional Massachusetts getaway that’s based on locales like Martha’s Vineyard and Cape Cod, but was filmed in Wilmington, N.C.
Fans in the Boston area can get in on the fun at one of several “TSITP” watch parties happening around town, like at Cambridge’s Saguaro Garden Bar. Creative director Jazzy Duarte told the Globe in a recent interview that she suggested the bar host a watch party as a way to give viewers, particularly women, a space to enjoy the drama with other fans.
“It’s nice to have your moment when you can kick your feet at the cuteness together,” Duarte said.
So, whether you are “Team Jeremiah” or “Team Conrad,” grab your friends and enjoy the series finale at these “TSITP” watch parties in and around Boston.
