Boxer Andre Lambe No 1 In Rankings

Boxer Andre Lambe holds the No-1 ranking in the welterweight division in the American Boxing Organisation [ABO] – one of the many sanctioning bodies in the sport.

The southpaw [12-0] solidified his position in the rankings after defeating American Kendo Castaneda by unanimous decision in Galveston, Texas, in June.

The win earned Lambe the ABO North American welterweight title.

Lambe, 30, is ranked 206th out of 2,621 welterweights worldwide.

He is being considered for the ABO’s Boxer of the Year award.
