NEW YORK CITY — New Balance has reopened its Flatiron flagship store to the public.
The revamped 2,200-square-foot store, located at 150 Fifth Avenue, draws inspiration from the highly identifiable aesthetic of the Boston flagship store.
The innovative design debuting in the Flatiron store marks a pivotal moment in New Balance’s global retail evolution.
Inside, the store centers upon a spacious and dynamic open area, which will consistently evolve to highlight the latest collaborations, events, launches, and activation.
The space is further divided into dedicated zones for performance and lifestyle items.
New Balance leaders told Patch that the new store is designed to visually intersect sport and culture, and puts customer at the center in all aspects.
“When we first opened our New York flagship store in Flatiron more than a decade ago, we knew this neighborhood represented the city’s energy and vibrancy – a destination where people come to discover, connect, and be inspired – making it the perfect backdrop for our reimagined flagship experience. Today, this location allows us to bring the intersection of sport and culture to life in a way that feels uniquely New Balance, while putting our customer at the center in all aspects,” Stephanie Smith, Vice President, Retail Management for New Balance told Patch.
The Flatiron store is now open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
