Jonas Brothers fans ‘so excited’ as boyband stars in first major film in 15 years

Fans of the Jonas Brothers have been left thrilled by a teaser trailer for the boyband’s forthcoming film. Joe Jonas , Kevin Jonas and Nick Jonas headline an “all-star” cast whilst portraying versions of themselves in the Disney+ production. A Very Jonas Christmas Movie, set to drop in November, marks the trio’s return to Disney , with whom they previously collaborated earlier in their career for the Camp Rock films, which came to an end in 2010. This latest partnership arrives as Joe, 36, Kevin, 37, and Nick, 32, mark their 20th anniversary as a group this year. The seasonal picture will follow the brothers as they battle to travel from London to New York in time to celebrate Christmas with their families, reports the Mirror . It’s hinted that they encounter “a series of escalating obstacles” whilst attempting to return home for the festivities. A teaser trailer has now been unveiled, offering additional glimpse into the challenges that face the siblings, who co-produced the picture. A message in the clip hints: “This holiday season … Let it bro. Let it bro. Let it bro.” The teaser begins with the group on tour in the UK, before Kevin remarks: “I haven’t seen my kids in like a month.” Nick is subsequently shown speaking to his wife Priyanka Chopra during a video call, saying: “We’re gonna get home for Christmas.” Viewers are then shown the character Brad, portrayed by Randall Park, questioning the brothers: “Are you boys sure you’re okay with getting to the plane tomorrow without me?” Brad continues: “I can stay another night just to make sure you get home okay.” To which Nick responds: “It’s one night, Brad, we’ll be fine.” The teaser suggests ensuing chaos after this comment, including a broken down car on their journey. Another scene depicts the trio surrounded by wolves in the woods, with Joe jesting: “I’m sorry we never got to hear you sing, Kevin, I’m sure your voice is pretty okay.” Kevin retorts: “Thank you!” Fans expressed their opinions in the comments section on YouTube, where the teaser trailer has nearly 4 million views. One commented: “I am super excited,” while another penned: “Welcome back to Disney, Jonas Brothers. God bless everyone.” Yet another viewer person raved: “The Jonas Brothers are BACK.” While a fourth fan declared: “Oh this is gonna be so much fun to watch!” And a fifth viewer reacted to the video: “OMG. I’m SO excited!!!” The film is being touted as a “family affair,” with cameos from other members of the Jonas family promised. There’s also an “all-star” cast that includes Randall, known for his role as agent Jimmy Woo in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The ensemble cast features the talents of Chloe Bennet, Billie Lourd, Laverne Cox, KJ Apa, Andrew Barth Feldman, Andrea Martin and Jesse Tyler Ferguson. Notably, Kenny G and Justin Tranter also appear, portraying themselves in the series. A Very Jonas Christmas Movie premieres on Disney+ on November 14.
