Veteran actress Nafisa Ali is battling cancer. She was diagnosed with peritoneal cancer in 2018. Now the actress has given her latest health update. She said that she will start chemotherapy again as she cannot undergo surgery. She has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. On Tuesday the actress shared a post on social media.
Peritoneal cancer is affecting the peritoneum the membrane lining the abdomen and surrounding the organs.
It read One day my children asked Who will we look up to after you are gone? I told them to look up to each other. This is my greatest gift – siblings who share the same love and memories. Protect each other. Remember your bond is stronger than anything in life.
With this Nafisa wrote in the caption Today is a new chapter in my journey. I had a PET scan yesterday. So chemotherapy will start again because surgery is not possible. Believe me I love life. Along with this the actress also shared this photo on Facebook. She also shared the scan and her own photo. She also shared screenshots of articles in which she is talking about stage 4 cancer.
